How we Started
How we Started
On a cold Winter day in 2010, a bunch of us met at the basement of kings pizza in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania., to come up with ideas on how to help our community to fight and prevent wild fires in Lower Luzerne County. From that day the crew was created with the help of DCNR.
We are Housed out of MTHC
We are Housed out of MTHC
We are currently are Housed out of Mountain Top Hose Company (Fairveiw Twp). Memebers of the crew are also members of MTHC, and the crew assist the Company calls and training. We are one big family and very greatful of the officers and members.
Training We Have
Training We Have
Members are certified in PA 130 and S190 as well as the annual "Red Card" pack test. This qualifies members to respond to wildfires the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
What is a Warden
What is a Warden
Fire wardens are expected to assemble and train a crew of wildland firefighters that are available to respond, under their direction, to wildland fires in the commonwealth. We currently have been and always had a warden on our team.

We built these trucks to fit our needs for the crew., with the help of DCNR.
We are currently in the process to making another truck to respond to fires and protect the community of Mountain Top and surrounding Communities

George Kirn still apart of the crew today.... His story still goes through the crews thoughts while on the fire line to remember SAFETY and being on the look out is our number 1 priority! Now that we are station out of Mountain Top Hose Company, which he was the president and fire chief of, his dedication and spirit still live's on with the crew members today. In Memory of...
